			<description>OK, so here's a something which might turn into a gotcha:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A short is 16 bits.&lt;br /&gt;
An int is 32 bits.&lt;br /&gt;
How long is a long (on a 64 bit CPU)?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Answers on the back of a postcard...  or posted here.  Extra points will be awarded to anyone who knows a suitable workaround (I know one, and will post it soon too).&lt;br /&gt;
